Bindinglist not updating listbox

The following example will show you why we need these two things: Try running it for yourself and watch how even though you add something to the list or change the name of one of the users, nothing in the UI is updated.

The example is pretty simple, with a User class that will keep the name of the user, a List Box to show them in and some buttons to manipulate both the list and its contents.

Add() as an argument, which will fill this particular value in the List Box Control that we have earlier defined in XAML.

From Part-3In the last code, we have bound the List Box Control to the List (Back End Code) using the Item Source Property:dwsigner List Box.

This is just as easy, but once you start doing it, you might discover something that disappoints you: Changes are not automatically reflected, like they were in previous examples.

As you will learn in this article, you need just a bit of extra work for this to happen, but fortunately, WPF makes this pretty easy.

Earlier, we dealt with the simpler List Box operation where we added a List Box Item within a List Box Tag. Next, we have an Image and Text Block to get the Bound value.

There we have bound the Source Property (for the image) and Text Property (for the Text Block).

Hi Zlatko, This forum is for UI for Xamarin, which is why I answered in the context of Xamarin Rad List View.

Additionally, Telerik UI for WPF doesn't have a Rad List View.

So, we have: Step 4 : We have designed controls in XAML (Target) and defined the source class (in other words binder Class).

There must be something that will link the Target to the Data Source.

The Items Source of the list is assigned to a quick list of a couple of users that we create in the window constructor.
